Scott Ciullo is the Executive Vice President in charge of Mid-West Operations with Plan Sponsor Consultants. Plan Sponsor Consultants’ headquarters are in Atlanta, GA with offices in Alabama and Michigan as well.
Scott is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®). AIFA’s have completed a rigorous specialized program on investment fiduciary standards of care at the Center for Fiduciary Studies, in association with the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. AIFA’s have acquired a thorough knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and can be a valuable resource to investment fiduciaries and individual investors alike.
Scott is also a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). With this designation, a CFS is able to evaluate and compare financial measurements and benchmarks when constructing a portfolio. With this designation and knowledge, Scott brings an added level of fund review to the Plan Sponsor Consultants team and the “blue ribbon fund” list that is maintained through their legacy with National Retirement Partners, now LPL Retirement Partners, the retirement plan focused division of LPL Financial.
Scott began his career in financial services in 1984. With over 30 years of experience, he uses his wealth of knowledge to assist Plan Sponsors as well as their employees to find the best retirement solution for them while reducing the plan sponsors fiduciary liability. With Plan Sponsor Consultants, Scott is even better equipped to help plan sponsors make the important decisions that they must face on behalf of their employees.
Scott’s article on the realities of retirement was published in PlanAdviser Magazine in 2009. His article was then cited by Texas Tech in their how-to guide titled “Reality Check.”
Scott was named to the 2016 Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Plan Advisors for the second year in a row. Scott is also part of the Plan Sponsor Consultants team that was named one of the 2016 PLANADVISER Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers.
